I've only ever used an electric shaver but I think it would better to shave with a just a normal razor and cream or whatever.
Any tips on how to do it that way?
And is it better to use that method?

I recommend shaving when you are in the shower. The steam from the shower helps stop irritation.

It is easier because who can be bothered to charge the electric shaver all the time? But it might be a little more expensive having to pay for new blades and razors every now and then. It really depends on your skin. If you have sensitive skin i would really advise that you use a razor because an electric shaver might be a bit too rough.. but try using a normal razor and shaving cream.. see which way is easier and which you prefer!! =D Hope you figure it out soon enough!

It gets smoother when you shave manaually apply waqtm rag to face. Put a small coat of baby oil or lotion on face this will prevent razor burn(also helps if you add a little of witch hazel or green rubbing achocol to shave water.) When you shave by hand take small strokes instead of long ones. Use a disposable razor(Gilette sensor or any like this type are the best. If you are in a tight a Bic will do. Try one for sensitive skin its the best.) After you shave app;ly warm rag to face again. To get a really close shave hand razors are the best, but for a quick touch up or when your time is limited an electric razor is good.

Shave in the shower. Keep the refills handy so your blade(s) stays sharp.

I use either cream or gel, makes no difference really. But the steam of the shower helps with less irritation.

Razor is definitely better than electric, unless you need a quick clean-up before a date or something, then an electric will do fine.

Well it depends on your age really, if you are very young it may damage your skin. I wouldn't recommend any men who have any pimples or spots on their face, to have a wet shave, because their face may bleed after shaving.

I've only started having wet shaves myself and I'm 22 now. I find that if I use a good face wash before shaving (nivia for men - oil control) it will condition the skin leaving your skin very healthy in which will minimise any damage a manual razor could do on your skin.

Soak your face with a face cloth soaked in hot water for at least 5 mins before applying shaving cream. Always shave in the direction of the hair.

I recommend that you use Gillette Hydro gel and a Gillette Mach 3 for shaving.

Good luck.

One tip is to get your face wet and apply plenty of shaving cream. If you don't make sure the hairs on your face are good and moist, the results can be painful. You do get a much closer shave this way than with an electric. Personally, I often alternate between both methods of shaving.

To try it out cheaply and well, buy Bic or similar brand double blade razors (both blades on one side, not double edged old fashioned) and a good brand of bar soap like Dial if you are using something else.
Wash face with soap and rinse to remove basic dirt and oils.
Wash face again with now softer bar of soap and work with finger tips to massage all of hair locations to be shaved. This further softens hair.
Rinse roughly, getting much of the soap off but not to leave it squeaky clean.
Lather up with soap, leaving a good layer and soaping all the hair. Rinse hands to be able to grip razor.
Using your fingers of your hand without the razor, feel through the lather to locate the direction of the hair and stretch the skin where needed and put the razor down and pull against the grain. Use parallel strokes and shape your face to bring hair out by pushing chin to side and opening mouth. Push lather around a bit with fingers to look for places missed. Rinse the blade if it gets too much goop on it.
Rinse thoroughly.
Face should be peach smooth and no burning sensation.
Don't need shaving lather.
Done it this way for 40 years.

They do that because those girls are easier to approach cause they are all flirting with us. But in the long run they will want to be with the shy nice girl, which i pick over the loud ones in the first place. You just need to find the right guy.
