Brown bags, all the time! My mom was always into making sure she got brown grocery bags (instead of plastic) the whole month before school started so I had enough of book covers.

Brown bags and still do to this day as a college student. I pay a lot of money for my books and want to keep them well protected.

I used store bought onces, but some people used brown bags.
I have a yellow one with blue and white horses, a blue one with light blue flowers, and lot more.
I think I have 5 book covers, but later I will have 6.

Brown Bags - Store bought either did not exist or were prohibitively expensive.

Brown bags all the way. Those store bought ones were usually glossy and you couldn't draw on them.

Ha ha...well I'm going to be a senior and I always use the bags that you get from American Eagle and such. They are a lot nicer than brown bags.

Brown bags, you could decorate them as desired. The store-bought ones were usually too cartoony.

Brown bags... and I had to color them to make them pretty.
Lots of hearts and flowers and most of all a new cover everytime my crush changed. Sarah and John Doe or Sarah and Johnny Smith ect....
