Just the action of steam-washing and suctioning the carpet in the first place will work wonders. However, be SURE to also treat ANYTHING that has fabric....your furniture, curtains, etc, etc. Fleas can be anywhere, and just because you clean the carpets doesn't mean you will get the little monsters if you don't do a full-area treatment.

When I moved to our new house the house was completely infested with fleas... They were everywhere.. Fortunately, we hadn't moved in any of our big furniture... Fleas cycle every two weeks and the bombs/foggers don't kill the eggs... Anyway, I had a newborn and my toddler son so I didn't want anything too harsh.. I went to the warehouse store and got 12 lbs of baking soda and the iodized salt 2-3 lbs. and I mixed it together and I put that all over my carpets.. I let it sit for a few days.. The baking soda smothers the fleas and the salt punctures the eggs.. Ending the life cycle.... I vacuumed everyday and put a cheap flea collar in the canister of vacuum to kill any live fleas and then I bombed/fogged again... I haven't had a flea problem since....Baking soda at BJ's is about $5 and the salt was around $3.. BS/Salt also deodorize and pick up loose dirt from the fibers.. You'll see the bs/salt are turned grey when you vacuum...I did however have to buy a new filter for my vacuum that was $40 but it's lasted 2 yrs.. I also treated my dog with Zodiac flea drops from petsmart $15 for 3 months and I used flea bombs.. RAID works best $15... Good luck

I would call a professional carpet cleaner and tell them you have a flea problem. If they cannot help, then you need a professional pest removal service.
The difficulty with fleas is there are always unhatched eggs left deep in the carpet fibers which home carpet shampooing cannot remove. The eggs are just waiting for the next cycle to hatch.
Also, the home shampooers cannot get the water hot enough to kill the eggs and live fleas. Any home designed carpet shampoo is not strong enough for pest removal.
If the infestation is severe, you may need to replace your carpet.

This is a sure fire method to get rid of fleas. Wash the dogs in (or animals) with green Palmolive dish soap. Put borax on your carpet and vaccum it up, repeat 15 days later. Put mothballs in the vaccum bag and although it doesn't smell fantastic, it will keep fleas from reappearing.

I used flea shampoo just dilute it with a two cups of water and shampoo the carpet with it . Actually it works very well because it kills the fleas and eggs and all the bugs that come from outside and bite your animal. Try Seagrams for fleas ,mosquitoes, ticks and their eggs.

Firstly cheating and hurting others. Using the other persons involved. Spread sexually transmitted diseases. People must think that they won't get a disease that it won't happen to them. These men may have a few accidents and have gotten women pregnant and not taken responsiblitly. Which they then may consider an abortion, even go through with it. Is this enough reasons for you????? There is more......Just look around you and see how people are doing this and what affects it has done in many societies in alot of countries around the world.

Try dusting your carpet with diatomaceous earth, leaving it out for at least a few hours, and then vacuuming it up. It is a kind of soil that kills fleas that come into contact with it because of tiny, microscopic cuts:
