I'm not talking about me, but I'm saying once you wear the pad and it sits in the pad for a while, it smells like fish. Haven't you ever walked into a public restroom ans someone discarded a pad and didn't discard of it properly and therefore it left the bathroom smelling like fish, raw fish?

Menstrual discharge is odorless until it leaves the body and gets exposed to the air- and the bacteria and viruses which are in the air. It's at that point that it develops an odor. My suggestion to you is change your pad more frequently. If that does not help, go and see your doctor, as you may have an infection which needs treatment. Hope that helps.

Any vinegar will do or lemon. Don't leave the vinegar or lemon on to long if it is non-stick as the acid may erode it. Wash well rub the acidic fluid over it and then wash and rinse again. This may work. I recommend that you turn the grill on once you have washed the pan just to burn away any lingering smell of fish and before you use the pan again. Alternatively buy a stainless steel pan they are much better can be washed and scrubbed better and will not retain the smell

Well for one thing, blood isn't comprised of only iron, but also white and red blood cells, plasma, water, protein, carbohydrates, lipids, gases, cellular waste, vitamins, and hormones.

And menstrual fluid is not comprised solely of blood. Blood makes up a little less than half of the total composition.

It's from the blood decay and the anerobic bacteria feeding and growing from the blood cause the odor.

seriously, it is old decaying dead blood, why wouldn't it have an odor?
if the odor persists after the period however, would see a doctor as this is a sign of vaginitis.

If it smells like fish you need to go see your doc and get checked out . This is not normal and means something is wrong.
