You will be sued and you may get arrested. I would sell the car and get the money however you can in order to pay the people back as soon as possible. What you did was fraud and is criminal. You screwed over honest people and should be held accountable for it.

As others have said - its a scam You say you got the e-mail from paypal Are you sure ? - did you check the header code on the e-mail ? that will show the routing details and will indicated whether it actually DID come from paypal. Personally I think the e-mail is a fraud, trying to get you to send the goods when you have not received any money. (the bit about paypal holding the money from the buyer until the transaction is complete is bullshi//te- the transaction has NOTHING to do with paypal. Until YOU receive the money there AINT no transaction)

"This looks like fraud." Ya, that's because it IS fraud.
You can only pay it back at 100 a month if the people you owe (possibly including paypal) agree to let you do that. Otherwise, you can go to jail.
You are quite possibly the worst business person I've ever heard of. And I live in the city where Enron was headquartered.

Don't waste anymore time, sell the car, email paypal, or better yet call them. Explain the situtaion, and quickly pay them what is theirs, you don't want legal problems like this, you'll end up even worse, You'll have to pay for a lawyer, server time, and then after all pay everything back anyways...
Forget about making payments, paypal is not a loan institution, get a loan elsewhere pay then PayPal, then pay the loan place monthly, if you don't want to get rid of the car.

It's fraud and paypal will follow up. You should sell the car, get a job and pay them back right away or you will be in jail very soon.

This is a good lesson of not counting your chickens before they hatch.
If you don't want civil lawsuits and possible criminal charges, you need to refund people's money.
You need to go get a loan from a bank for $3000, sell your car, get extra work ect to repay these people.
If paypal wants to work out a deal with you, thats fine. But they don't have to.

Well, I would think you were the one who defrauded considering you were trying to sell items you never had in the first place.
