If someone has a grammar question, we give them a sentence as an example, ok. But how come that sentence is always about someone going to the store? Is there something special about the store? Something going on there I don't know about?

It's like this. Say you and I went to the store, and you were attempting to ask the clerk to assist you but were being grammatically incorrect. He wouldn't be able to understand you; but if you had previously asked me a grammer question and I answered with a metaphor about going to the store you would be much better off in that situation.

yes it's a store conspiracy. way back in olden times there were these guys who killed everyone who didn't like stores. one day they went to a grammar class and they were talking about stores and such. that calmed the men down and they stopped killing. therefore they kept teaching grammar that way(with the stores) to make sure that the men's ghosts didn't come back and kill them

The store is code for a great many things of which we're not privy to.
