Risk, Diplomacy, Civilisation or Talisman - depends on my mood.
There is a Trivia based one I have, but I can't remember the name, will edit this when I get home from work to add it. (EDIT: Game is Enigma, and is more riddle than Trivia based)
Oh and then there's Pass Out - but you can only play that with adults as it's a drinking game, and a bit risque ..... but not as bad as an Aussie, drinking based, card game I have "Drowning Surfer" ... that one is definately an adult game.
Also --- does naked twister count as a board game, or is the plastic sheet not a board
