My husband is a firefighter and so he is gone every 3rd night on duty, so I have thought about this. Because I have small children I do not have a gun. But I would grab the phone and run to the kitchen and grab a knife. I am not afraid to stab someone who is breaking in. But yes 911 would be dialed.
