This math problem says "-18x3."

-18x3 first of all is just 18x3, then add a negative sign

answer= -54

when two negatives r multiplied, it will equal positive,
when one negative and one posistive r multiplied it will be negative.

basicly, its regular math

Here are the rules as I know them.....

When you multiply 2 neg. integers the answer is positive.
When you multiply 2 pos. integers the answer is positive.

When you multiply 1neg and 1 pos. integer, the answer is Negative.

When you multiply more than 2 neg. or pos. integers. For example; -6*7*2*-5*-5= -2100
just count the amount of negative signs in the problem. If there is an even amount of neg. signs then the answer will be positive(because the signs cancel each other out) If there is an unequal amount of neg. signs (like example above) the answer will have a negative result.

If you completed the first grade, then you already know how to add positive integers.

"-18 x 3" is multiplying integers, not adding them.

-(18) x 3=-54
For multipication,remember the following
a x b= ab
-a xb =-ab
a x-b=-ab
-a x-b =ab,where a &b are positive integers
