You didn't mention what you are detoxing from. That might help. Any sudden change in diet or medication would cause all the reactions you are having. You may want to "taper" off of whatever you're trying to quit, rather than quitting cold turkey. It can be quite a strain on your body. Be sure to drink a LOT of water to help move the detox along. The symptoms do go away, but a taper is less traumatic on your body.

You will experiance withdrawls from whatever you are detoxing from. Whether it be herion/coke or cigarettes/alcohol or even caffine. These are normal since your body adapted to working with these toxins which made you feel normal. Not feeding your addiction makes you feel the painful withdrawls. Best thing to do is sleep it all off if you can. When you wake up eat something light and run a mile or 2 then take a shower eat a meal and sleeep it off. Just do all that to keep your mind of whatever it is that has you going crazy. Excerise and sleep is a great combo sweat it out and sleep the cravings away!

That's a natural thing with a detox, and the whole point. Toxins have been stored up in your body for a long time. Now that you're going through the detox process, those toxins are flowing freely in your body so they can properly be removed. While they're coursing, they will make you sick. It's only temporary. Those feelings will pass as more toxins leave your body.

You feel like crap because of all the toxins in your body. You had all these chemicals in your body, using most likely on a daily basis which means your body got used to being toxic with alot of other "poisons" in your body. Now that those toxins are leaving, it will take a toll on your body to readjust to letting it go, and not having it replaced back into the body. It only feels like that for a while, but once you have it all out of your system, you will feel like you just came back from some great vacation. Your body will adjust and feel stronger, your sense of smell will get better, as will your sense of taste You will probably rediscover stuff you ate before while you were "stoned" will taste much better now and have more flavor. Take 2 Tylenol for the headaches only every 4 hours, lie down and rest. Your good genes are battling to get rid of the bad stuff in your body..thats why you are having different symptoms..Be careful of starting another addiction to replace the drugs, as in, foods, cookies, ice cream, sodas, etc. Most people who are inclined to get addicted to drugs have that "addictive" personality and will replace one addiction for another..Try to eat things gradually...
I have been there and am clean and sober for over 20 years now..Believe me, sometimes life can be a ***** but only occasionally, trying to find something to get and stay high is much more stressful and not to mention, expensive...Good luck and seek out some meetings to help you along..it does work if you are serious about getting clean...

Only two days and you want to give up. Hell yes it is part of it. You should have thought about that before getting start with the stuff in the first place.

Sorry no sympathy here.

Takes 3 days to get it out of your system, and you will feel good again in about a year. Withdrawal is not fun, you have my sympathy.
