Depends.
I'm 48, and I like my women to be strong, spunky, independent . . . but also *kind.*
Too many women confuse being their own person with being a total b*tch. Sorry, but it's true.
And of course, the *further* over 30 you go, the more men you'll find looking for "old fashioned gender roles."

That's a rather vague question it depends on how you mean strong spirited....Some men tolerate it better the older they get and actually respect a woman more and simply because of the aging factor. Men realize that a strong spirited woman are set in there ways and they know what they want. So, in my opinion that scares off a younger guy. So Yes I think older men appreciate a strong spirited woman.

My husband does. He tells me all the time that anyone else would bore him to death. LOL
I'm not really bossy as much as I am strong willed. I choose my battles and I don't back down when I know I'm right or it's what I believe in. And most of all, I don't take his ****.
Believe it or not, he loves it. LOL I was the first woman to come along that wasn't too impressed with his "show".

It depends. A weak man will not no matter how old he is.
Usually an older guy will appreciate a woman who is confident and well grounded. It is often a sign of intelligence.

Younger men are too young and inexperienced to KNOW when they don't know anything. Us older guys NEED someone to give us a clue, if you know what I mean. We tend to appreciate it when our partners GIVE us that clue. At least we REALIZE that we have a tendency to be clueless at times, younger guys have NO idea that they're totally clueless.
