Huh?

You have DSL w/DSL modem? Get a wireless router and connect it to the Ethernet. Get a wireless NIC card for the desktop PC or use a USB Wireless dongle.

first off i need to know if your provider gave you a modum?
then need to know if your desktop is set up for wireless??
most 'laptops' are set up for wireless,at least thenes in the last 2 years, gateway sends all their's wireless,so it is more that is need to be know before i can help,do you have and ethernet cable??but then again if a 'provider' came to your place they should not have left without your system working, when i was working at phone company we went out to each place and hooked up the system and did not leave until it was working, and then if you have cable i know nothing about that goog luck
