=(A-C)-(A-B)
=59-38=21

A - B = 38 so that A = B + 38
A - C = 59 so that A = C + 59
Subtract the second eqn from the first:
(B + 38) - (C + 59) = A - A = 0
B - C = 59 - 38 = 21

A - B = 38 -> B = A - 38
A - C = 59 -> C = A - 59

B - C = A - 38 - (A - 59) = 21

A~B =38 means B~A= ~ 38 then add the two equalities side by side, you get:
(B~A) +(A~C) = ~38 + 59, so B~A+A~C=B~C=21
