I use to drive over the speed limit until I hit black ice on a hair pen curve. That slowed me down! I missed the curve and rolled the car 3 times. Luckily I was wearing my seat belt (back then it was not the law). My head hit the drivers side window so hard, it knocked me out. I was on a country road, so there was very little traffic, especially since there was a blizzard after I was knocked out. The mail man found me the next morning. I had hypothermia and frost bite. I was lucky to be alive and mended well. I only tell you this story to stess the point of the danger of going over the speed limit. The limit is posted for a reason. The post is not put up by random. Obviously my answer is: I drive the speed limit, some times under. I manage to leave the house early enough so I don't have to go over the speed limit. My life is too important to take such chances again.

Generally, I go 5 miles over the speed limit. Legally, that is the most you can go over and not get a ticket. However, if you choose to go much more over the 5 mile limit, I would suggest you invest in a radar detector. Just be careful, some radar detectors are not allowed in some states. but before you know it, the police will eventually have radars to detect your radars!

Usually over if Im by myself & I tend not to pay as much attention as I should to things. Im usually only over 5 mph or so. I almost always go the speed limit when Im w/ other people tho and def pay attention more!

I drive right around the speed limit, maybe 5 mph over. I try to stay in the right lane, but there are still jerks who flash their high beams at me when they can just go around. I'm not saying I never "speed", but usually I'm trying not to get pulled over.

i drive over the speed limit here in CA the speed limit is 65 its kinda hard to do 65 when everyone else is doing 80 or 85

usually 10-20 miles over. (not too many cops out in the country where i do most of my driving)
