I see nothing wrong with it, all you have to do is rinse the dishes off before putting them into the dishwasher. The dishwasher heats the water very hot which in turn kills germs.=)

Its only a problem if the food is still stuck on the dishes after they come out the dishwasher or if they don't use dish washing liquid or soap of any kind . Its the same thing as washing them by hand if they do it right sometimes better.

Nothing wrong with that, He dips them in water to remove any foodstuff still left on the plate , this way the filter won´t be blocked , The dishwasher washes the dishes better than we do and they get steam dried as well

I don't bother rinsing/washing the dishes either.. I've never had a problem with anything NOT rinsing properly... The dishes are clean.. I hate when people hand wash dishes and fill a basin with clean water and rinse the dishes in my opinion they are not clean unless rinsed with clean running water.. Also, soaking dishes is really, really bad the bacteria multiplies in the soaking water.... GROSS.. I used to soak plates, saucers in a bit of hot water with soap and a bit of bleach... Do NOT use bleach on silverware or pots n pans..

That is OK for some people. I wash the dishes by hand and stack the in the diswasher. When it gets full, I run it to sanitize the dishes.

As long as they are using the dishwasher to actually WASH the dishes, and not just dry them, I think this is okay. If they just dry them in the dishwasher after rinsing them this way and then reuse them then I have to agree that it's gross.

We use a dishwasher at our house too! Every one is far too busy to wash up. It isn't disgusting and it cleans every thing lovely.

What in the world do you think dishwashers do? They wash dishes at high heat. Duh!
