As a scientific species, humans have most likely only evolved on Earth ... but as vast as the universe is, I would not be surprised to find a planet that supports a similar intelligent form of life

If life can take place here on the Earth then there is no reason why there should not be other places in the universe to have people, or lifeforms, similar to ourself living as civilization. There are more starts in the universe than there are grains of sand in all the beaches of the Earth and each star may have many planets orbiting round.

If you look around you find that life on the Earth is in various shapes and forms, and it is not only human beings who made their existence into the world. Simplest creatures like earthworms, flies and snails have made it along side more complex organisms like birds, reptiles and fishes. And since all the stuff of the universe is made up of the same material, i.e. elements and compounds than there is a fair degree of chance that what happened on earth, is also happening somewhere else in the universe.

It is also possible that many people like us existed long before us who now have developed into far more advanced levels of existence into other than physical dimensions of the universe. There might be people of light, or energy or that of spirit about in the world who do not even need to contact us. It is also possible that the angel and other spirits that scriptures tell us about are in fact real lifeforms in the universe, that they all are real.

One day we will find out, but until then you can enjoy the wonder of it all. Just imagine what people like might be living up there worlds away, what cities they might have and what could be their customs and rites! They have indeed given us many Hollywood blockbusters with even being here.

The universe is a big place, I think it is unlikely that there is not another planet with the right conditions for life. However, the right particles may have only been formed near earth.

The Universe is very alive with life of all kinds, both physical and non physical. In terms of the physical universe, as in our dimension, the 3rd, there is human, humanoid, and many other types of physical life, including insectoid and reptoid, for example.

Take a look at the book *Voyagers* Vol. 1 for a very helpful discussion of the possibilities, including info on our planet and its history of "visitors" and our species' "arrival" :)))

Err what?

Yes there is human life on this planet... some of them not very literate or intelligent! There is also animal and plant life... as for anything else... that's usually the result of one too many hallucinogenics! lack of sleep, too much alcohol... or a vivid imagination!

Humans certainly only live on Earth. Other intelligent life - it's likely. However, there is no way they have ever visited Earth.

our planet is less than a speck in the universe. how arrogant it would be to assume we are the only living beings amidst all those millions of galaxies, stars, planets, etc.
