It is normal, your body is protecting itself from losing more blood, it is nothing to worry about really, your period will come when it has to, it is avoiding to lose some blood it needs, it is defending itself.

Good luck! ;D

lots of things can mess with your cycle specially meds and surgery. your body is under some stress from what you went through. things should get back to normal as you heal. take a pregnancy test just in case if you had sex before the surgery and you were not on birth control.

It is common for a woman's body to miss a peroid if you are under extreme stress, such as a surgey. Also, the narcotics may have relaxed your muscles, so that you are not "cramping" effectively, and lying in bed can also slow the appearance/onset of a peroid.

you should be fine. The anesthia will do that to you. I had a surgery one time and didn't have a period for 6 months after. So, just wait it out. It should come back.

Surgery can cause you to miss your period for up to 2 months. Take a test just to be sure though

Could be nothing more that Stress. You sound like you have reason to be stressed.

Stress can stop periods altogether. Still talk to your doctor, if you are worried.
