I don’t think that’s why business has been slow. On the contrary, I think it’s cute. You’re a therapist (I assume a physical one). Your job is to help people’s injuries heal and make the body strong again. The space in your sign represents the persons broken part.
Food for thought: Is your sign along a place where it would be viewed by a lot of people (I.E) an intersection)? Is it close to where the need is (I.E. a hospital)? Did you notify all the hospitals and urgent care facilities in your area of your services? As for people acting strange around you: do you or your business have any articles of religious significants that might make your customers act strangely? Do you have a disability (I.E. a visual impairment) that might make people doubt your ability to perform the service they seek? I know that question might sound stupid, but in this day and age, one can never tell.
Please understand I meant no offense when asking any of the above questions. I merely mean them to be thought generating questions. I hope I’ve given you some ideas. I wish you the best of luck and hope you have profitable business for years to come..
