My brother told me the other day that Hitler beleived that Germans were from Atlantis and that's why he went on his rampage. Fun fact. Anyone know of other fun facts like this one? Please nothing about the kennedy assasinations that stuff gets boring after the 17th time.

Here one: It is a myth that people though the Earth was flat. The ancient Greeks knew the Earth is a sphere and that fact was never forgotten. The idea that people in the Middle Ages thought the Earth was flat was made up in the 19th century.

Your brother is wrong. That belief precedes Hitler in Germany and he in fact made fun of the people in the Nazi party who believed that. He thought it was a waste of time to try and prove such nonsense. Don't confuse 'facts' with 'rumors.'
