Last year abortion was on the ballet in my state, so I have seen first hand how nasty this debate can be. Pro-lifers went for “low blows” when debating this issue. Instead of using facts they used dead fetus on signage and unfactual propaganda. There was even a vehicle with 10foot dead fetus attached to it. (even if I was pro-life, I wouldn’t want to see that!) I would be interested to know how many of these protesters do anything to HELP lower abortion stats? How many of these “protesters” go out and volunteer their time to teach young women about abortion and the ill effects it can have. How many start support groups to help women with this heavy decision they are making? How many open their home to children abandoned (foster home). But this would take a kind hearted, unjudmental person!

pont n case mr Hokiefire - please elaborate on how to HELP the abortion issue, instead of ranting about dogs and baby murder. none of the sites, you where kind enough to include links to, have ANYTHING about helping the abortion rate, just ranting and raving about baby murder this and fetus that... please STOP THE HATE! have you ever thought that is the "pro-life" aka anti-choice reps offered a reasonable bill for vote that maybe something would be done... all or nothing for you people will prob end in nothing for your campaign, again.

I did it backwards - married into children, and did volunteer work on my own with teens at risk. (kind of a misnomer, it was 2 coke addicts and a pyromanaic - they were beyond risk at the point I met them.)

I have a personal quandry about the whole thing - I don't believe in abortion for me, but I just as strongly don't believe in my rules applying to everyone. Frankly, it's not my body, and legislating to women by men is silly, to be lighthearted about it.

I only think that personal empowerment lowers abortion stats - personal choice NOT to be sexually active too soon, personal choice not to let outside influences make you do bad things in general. If more people exercised more personal responsibility, lots of bad things would be mitigated.

This does not apply to rape, though. The best way to prevent rape is to mandate that everyone carry a loaded firearm at all times... OK, maybe even that wouldn't work, but even if we were to eliminate all abortion EXCEPT rape by exercising personal responsibility, it would be a dramatic improvement.

How many give out condoms? How many buy birth control and give to low income girls? How many offer counseling for women who have mental issues after adopting their children out? How many have lost a job and the ability to feed other children?

Nearly none. That is why they can be so judgemental and close-minded.

My life, my body, my choice.

And I hate the whole "pro-life" thing. They are not "pro-life" they are ANTI-choice, big difference.

If only these people could encourage women to be more knowledgeable about their bodies. Ignorance kills more women than an aborted fetus.

It's no one's business what another person does with their body. This planet is in a crisis because people don't take responsibility for their bodies and for their actions.

If you don't want an abortion, don't have one. Keep your legs crossed.

Only in America is a man condemned by the double standards of a Secular Humanness society and the hypocrisy of it's members that flaunt their self-righteousness. Only in America is a man condemned for bad judgment concerning his dogs and then his dogs killed by the same society. Only in America is a man mocked for his inappropriate handling of his dogs while the society kills millions of dogs every year by injection, road kill, drowning, starvation, even over feeding. Only in America is a man deemed unfit for this society because of his conduct with dogs while the society has killed humans by injection, electrocution, firing squad, hanging, and gas, some having been innocent. Only in America is a man scorned for his immature actions with dogs while the society has legally killed-murder 48,107,058, that's million, unborn babies since Roe vs. Wade, for profit, and the killing continues at more then a thousand per day. Only in America is every detail of the inhuman killing of said dogs hyper-pumped through the press, TV and air waves with all the hysteria the society can generate including mass protest. Not so for the unborn who's tiny human bodies with arms, legs, heads, fingers, ears, toes, hearts-are dismembered in relentless pain. Not so for the 347 women killed along with their babies but remain hidden form the eyes of the society. Only in American can the society live in a culture of death and justify its actions on the whims of it's own self-righteousness and legalisms. Only in America.

All Things Legal Are Not In And Of Themselves Representative Of All Things Moral And Of Good Character

The Moral Fiber Of A Nation Can Be Seen Through The Eye Of It's Laws And The Treatment Of It's Unborn

However, in a world where the reality of the unborn is becoming harder to deny, many in the pro-choice mob will now concede that the unborn child is indeed a living human being. But they still contend that it is okay to butcher them. In their war to advance their demented worldviews and political agendas, they consider the humanity of the unborn as inconsequential and their deaths as collateral damage. And that is quickly becoming the core operating principle of the pro-choice movement.

It also defines the nature of our enemies. Although some pro-lifers would prefer to see them as just misguided or uninformed people with whom we have a philosophical disagreement, that is simply not the case. With almost no exceptions, those who most vehemently defend legalized abortion are morally bankrupt, self-absorbed people who dismiss concepts like “right and wrong” as quaint and irrelevant. --Mark Crutcher, Life Dynamics, Inc. -3 out of 5 pregnant African-American women will abort their child.
-Since 1973 there has been over 13 million Black children killed and their precious mothers victimized by the U.S. abortion industry.
