I just bought a new "hp LaserJet 1018" printer. It's connected properly to the computer and the ink is new and inserted correctly. However, it won't print. I type a text, and select print and absolutley nothing happens. It doesn't even take up the papers I put in. Why is that? Can anyone please help me and tell me what I can do to print? I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

Disconnect printer from PC.
Insert CD it came with, install drivers. ONLY connect printer when drivers ask you to.

use printer

If U use Windows Vista (spit) U might need to get the drivers from the HP website www.hp.com

There is no ink in Laser printers. You've said it is connected but did you install it in your system(drivers, control programs e.t.c) It should be a CD included. Check tutorials on it
