i want to use it to trap this freaking mosquitos.

By the way there are commercially available CO2 generators and some are even paired with mosquito traps, like the mosquito magnet.

When you burn propane it turns to CO2 and H2O according to the equation...

C3H8 + 5O2 --> 3CO2 + 4H2O

You can't simply turn it into CO2 by other means.

Why don't you just buy an aerosol fly killer such as Vapona, and if the mosquitos are biting you, buy Autan mosquito repellant.
