I think it is essentially because "right-hander" is commonly known as the norm, so the majority of kids are first taught to right with their right hand.

Because most brilliant people in history are left handed people.Albert Einstein, Alexander the Great , Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, Fidel Castro, Goldie Hawn, Howie Mandel, Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Seinfeld, Julius Caesar, Larry Bird, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Marlyn Monroe, NapolÈon Bonaparte, Oprah Winfrey, Paul McCartney, A lot of the Royal Family, Reggie Jackson , Robert Redford, Sam Adams, Tom Cruise, Whoopi Goldberg, and many more are all left handed. There are more right handers because the majority of the left handed people are brilliant. And not all right handed people are as samrt as left handers.

Nature prefers right handers (not sure why) but generally if an object is "handed" it will be right (for example some molecules can be left or right handed and a majority are right handed)

The left-handed folk first fell into the position of "less numerous" back in the old days, when everybody fist-fought. Because the left arm had to be used to guard (that's where the heart is), those with faster right hands normally won. The fact that left-handedness is recessive doesn't help much.

When I was a young pup, in Canada in the '80s, I started writing with my left hand. My teacher said, "No, Mikey, the pencil goes in this hand," and shoved it in my right. (I let her call me Mikey because I was 4.) As it turns out, though I prefer my left hand, I'm technically ambidextrous. So since I was able to write with my right hand, she assumed I had to be right-handed. Flash forward 20-some years, and my handwriting is horrible and handwriting experts have pointed out to me that I form letters backwards, like a lefty would do it. I can write with my left hand and my penmanship is better with the left, but it just feels unnatural to me now so I go back to my right.

I've always wondered how many more "fake righties" like me there were out there. It's probably enough to at least bump the pencentages up to 75%/25%, possibly farther, but we may never know.

Ask your parents many older Americans were forced to write right handed early in their life whether it was the teacher or parent. 15% of the American population is left handed 85% right handed. Right hand dominance has no genetic factors but is actually theorized that it is an evolutionary trait derived from primates who perfer using their right hand for a variety of social functions such as eating and grooming.

In many countries especially Islamic countries it is forbidden to use you left hand which is reserved for cleaning the body whereas the right hand is used for greeting and eating.

In my days in school and earlier they would not let students write left handed. They would hit their hand or tie it down.

I mean we want the two in the international yet what could u somewhat be? i'm in my view precise surpassed a.ok.a left brained.
