in really thought that how much money does this, or similar sites (like facebook) cost the economy? its not a comment on pople who use it a lot, its about work related use, or how people have so much spare time in modern society.

I cost nothing.
It is in my time, at my own expense.
Without an employer's consent it would be stealing.

It has nothing to do with money, perhaps some people who have accumulated all these points did so over long period of time and may not work, i.e retired, or suffering from an illness and they can't go out much. So this might be their only outlet. There are all kinds of reasons why people get so far and i don't think it's because they are wealthy so can stay at home.

Most question take only seconds to answer... I'm a SAHM of 2 boys and I answer questions randomly on here in my "spare" time.. While the children are napping or while I'm waiting for the laundry to finish cycling.. .I also work at night so, I guess it's possible to work and have time for yahoo answers.. I don't think I'm costing the economy anything.. ! I cannot work and use yahoo answers. So, this is strictly spare time...

You know sometimes I see some of these silly answers and I think people are using robots to randomly search sections and leave random comments from some .txt file. It is very possible and probably very easy to do with a little java. I think they are sort of like the random story generators that build webpages and send emails out too. People are using bots to spam and act like they are human not just to spam links, but to actually make comments, post short stories, and build text based webpages for google adsense campaigns. Do you believe it?

I am still in school.
Lately I haven't had enough time to come on here.
I do come on here a lot.
But at least I am not one of those weirdos who can get 16000 points in 6 months.

don't go thinking that all on here are dole dossers, the ones you speak of could be disabled or have long term illnesses, as I have. Really you are asking a very personal question that is not really relevant. plse abstain from judgement and remember that real people are behind the avaters of the answerers.

Why do you care so much? If you have your own life, then live it and stop worrying about other people and how many points they have.
You obviously care enough to feel a need to post this question twice, sweetheart.
