I'd love to get my parents a "Welcome to the Beach" wooden sign, but I'd like it to be personalized...do you know of any websites that do this that are less than $100? I've been looking and can't seem to find any! Thanks

Either painted or engraved...I haven't found either ...they have one that says "Welcome to the Beach" but it's for their beach camper and I'd love to put their names on it...(or get them something similar, with their names on it)

My suggestion: Find a local woodworking shop. Show them some ideas; and let them do the job. Certainly you could, with the choice of wood; design; tools; etc; but this sounds like a special "GIFT" and you should be happy enough to give it. Certainly you have the choice to negotiate; and even explain the reason for wanting the sign.

A pro shop, with a Router; even free hand, could hand you the sign in 5 minutes from start to finish; Plus advise you of types of wood and finishes to endure a beach environment. That much you could do after the fact..

Some of the stationery shops that supply rubber stamps also do door signs. I would recommend going to a shop rather than on-line as it is easier to explain what you are looking for and for the assistant to show you what is available. A wood effect plastic will be much less expensive than real wood.

I don't know of any websites, but if you have any large regional swap-meets or county fairs in your area, I have seen vendors that do this at those locations all the time.
