The Lunar Roving Vehicle was big enough to seat two astronauts.
On Apollo 15 the LRV was driven a total of 17.25 miles in 3 hours 2 minutes of driving time (~6 mph).
On Apollo 16 the vehicle traversed 16.5 miles in 3 hours 26 minutes of driving (~5 mph).
On Apollo 17 the rover went 22.3 miles in 4 hours 26 minutes total drive time (~5 mph).

Well, I remember hearing it was around 17MPH (I think I saw it the Guiness book of world records - "highest speed obtained on another moon or planet".)
