what is a good state to move to that has good pay and jobs to work in and the weather is like california? oh and housing is affordable?

My suggestion is to lower your sights a little. If you want California-like weather, you aren't going to get the low cost of living. It's that simple.

Try looking into Oklahoma.

Realestate is cheap and wages are comparatively high.

But it snows and gets cold in the winter.

Most states that have lower paying jobs have lower cost of living. Go one the Internet and explore the weather channel. You can find weather patterns for year round for any state. The states in the interior, between the mountains, have less moisture typically. You also need to be aware of the humidity. Humidity can make hot like a sauna.
I like the state of being.
