All the products you use should be oil free and use a matte moisturizer instead and blotting sheets throughout the day. That should help.

check your products to make sure that any cleansers or exfoliaters etc don't contain oil. also make sure that products aren't over drying either as then your face will produce more oil to combat this. try an oil balancing exfoliater (simple do one that works well for me). also if you do feel shiny when you're out you can get these papers that you rub on your face and they absorb the excess oil and then you can reapply powder. also you can look at foundations/ tinted moisturizers that are oil free/ are for oily skin. if you don't usually wear foundation then tinted moisturizer is recommended. also watch the powder as most contain talc and this can clog the pores, the face may then produce more oil to rid the pores of the powder. products from brands like aveda don't contain talc and are also free from certain ingredients that can irritate the skin such as laureth sulphates. also with the moisturizer try ones that help balance the oil as well as being oil free.

Not all oil free products stop the shine. You need to put your skin on a regimine. Try Origins Matte Scientist and other products for oily skin. You need to calm your skin. The oiliness is because of your skin's hyper activity.

Revlon Colorstay Active Foundation and Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder. You should also use Clean & Clear Shine Control Cleanser, and before makeup put some Milk of Magnesia on your face, that always works!

'shiny face' is a result of excessively oily skin. Try anti shine porducts from your local drugstore and get a strong powder and reapply regularly.

you cant stop the shine because its genetics but you can prevent excess shine. use oil controlling products-cleansers, toners and moisturizers. use an oil free primer and oil blotting sheets throughout the day. it helps me. make sure your makeup is oil free too.

get face blotting clothes. they're like little sheets of paper that smell good, and you blot away the shine. i use them if i'm out alot at night, 'cause they don't mess up your makeup.
