I an 21 years old. everyone thought I had add/adhd, but they fround out I had aspergers. I had to work harder to get as far as everyone else did. I dont give up easy.

There is a scholarship that is awarded to 3 people who have forms of autism for three thousand dollars, the link to the application and information is http://researchautism.org/news/otherevents/Scholarship.asp
There is a good chance there are other scholarships that are specifically for those with forms of autism, maybe try doing a search on-line or talking to a financial adviser at the college.

I have asperger's too but I didn't get diagnosed until several years after I got out of college, just go they can't stop you because of a mental disability.

You are eligible for any scholarship and grants anyone else is eligible for. But you are also eligible for ones specifically for people with disabilities. CHeck out: http://www.heath.gwu.edu/

Just as anyone else can, if you are good at writing and studying, or can fill out the FAFSA correctly, you will get aid for college.

As a person with A.S., I've tried getting assistance to go to college. But truth be told, I didn't succeed.

well this is not an answer to your question...but my 10 year old grandson has asperger syndrome ..... he is getting very hard to handle.... how old are you and how has it affected your life
