Why were Republicans so fast to kick Congressman Craig to the curb? Is this what they call loyalty? After all, it was only a misdemeanor. Or is it because they really don't like pillow biters?

They put up with Mark Foley for years. His affection for young male pages was well know to the leadership.

It is because Craig is bad publicity, and, IMPORTANTLY his replacement would be from the Gov., who is republican. This will give the replacement a year in office before a possible re-election bid.
It is all about trying to maintain a GOP senate seat, since it is doubtful Craig would be re-elected. Therefore having filled the office with a republican would at least give the GOP a chance at holding this seat

Answer: Dems say the Republicans are hypocrites for not embracing the alternative life style degenerates that are the core of the libs leadership and constituency...
Republicans remove...Democrats defend and elect!
If America used only one yard stick to make and informed election decision...
Oh Well! Maybe someday.

The gop was quick to kick because they are now the minority in both the house and senate and enjoy the lowest approval rating for a republican president in history. the gop is trying its hardest to shed negativity in voters by distancing themselves from party members whose images will further deter the party from political power. plus they hate pillow biters. publicly.

The Congress has moral and ethical standards. The Republicans try to follow them. The Democrats don't.

Republicans are running for cover, trying to look as good as they can for the upcoming election year. It's a move of desperation.

It's because if somebody does something the party knows is immoral, then they should get rid of him, at the very least so he cannot do it again!
But a democrat wouldn't know about that, I suppose. Look at Clinton.
