I have neighbors who help themselves to anything in my back yard, from my clothesline to lawn chairs. They will putt golfballs, play catch,and now one of theirs grandchildren knocked over my $10 grill and broke it, takes my ceramic animal, they continously throw their cigarette butts in my yard too. I am absolutely fed up! I especially get enraged when I see the cigarette butts in my rose bush mulch!

Ask them to stop... and if they don't, file a complaint with the cops...

Put up a no smoking sign in BIG red letters. Along with another sign saying that the use of property by them will now be $5 a day if they ask or $10 a day if they don't. Then yet another saying that kids that are in your yard become your property and are subject to spanking. I know it sounds gross but pick up the cigarette butts and pile them in their yard, and another sign that says your yard is not a ash tray, If these problems persist call the police, and say some one stole your lawn chairs and has been breaking your stuff, play dumb and just imagine when your neighbors get a vist from police looking for your stuff!!!!

You must have given them free rein to your yard before. Now this is the result of it. Put a stop to it! Tell them there not allowed in your yard any more because they have no respect for others. If they still persist to come over call the police to remove them or get yourself a aggressive watch dog. No one has any business being in your yard when their not invited. Cocoa

First off I would call them and invite them over for a talk.
In a calm manner explain to them that what they are doing is upsetting to you and that you would kindly appreciate it if they would not do it.
If talking rationally to them doesn' work, you may have to have the police talk to them because they are tresspassing and littering your private property and by law that is illegal.
Try to talk it out first. Sometimes people don't realize that what they are doing is bothering anyone. They may have not been brought up with the same respect that you were. And need a little repremanding once in a while.

do you hae a fense? if not get one. well i dont' knwo where you live. if you had a big dog protecing your yard while you were gone they would not enter it but then again if you had this big dog and he bit someone you'd be in trouble. you can slowly stop this with 6 foot fense and they will get the message and keep everything in house till you use it and bring it in till you get the fense.

what do you execpt from a $10.00 grill if you had bought a webber grill it could get knocked over and not break.
