Everything from violent protests in the streets to flattening the tires of vehicles designed to help indigent Republican voters get to the polling places in Milwaukee . I think it's time that responsible liberals take a good long look at what the Democratic Party has become , and not what it used to be .

What do you think ?

Here's what I think :

I get knocked down. . . but I get up again
You're never gonna keep me down
I get knocked down . . but I get up again
You're never gonna keep me down

Pissing the night away. . . Pissin the night away
He drinks a whiskey drink
He drinks a vodka drink
He drinks a lager drink
He drinks a cider drink
He sings the songs that remind him of the goodtimes
He sings songs that remind him of the better times

"Oh , Danny boy , Danny boy , Danny boy-y-y-y"

I get knocked down . . but I get up, again
You're never gonna keep me down
I get knocked down . . . but I get up again
YOU'RE NEVER GONNA KEEP ME DOWN (smile)

What Say You ?

And now , for their latest 'feat' , they've somehow got me suspended even though I rarely get a violation notice . Now how could that be ?

Shouting people down,
Talking over people
Violence,
Vandalism,
Marches,
Joining 'groups'

are all indications of fear, cowardice, a lack of intellect or confidence or morals or all of the above.

The Milwaukee 21's peace protest charge of "disorderly conduct" was dismissed for lack of evidence (see link below), so I guess there wasn't any property damage.

Leaning to the right, the Missionaries for the Preborn protest also appears to have been peaceful in nature.

Perhaps more in the middle, the "ride the bus to protest route closings" also appears to have been peaceful, too.

Were there proof, I would agree with you. But at least you have a nice drinking song.

what "violent protests" ??

"flattening tires" - do you have a source for that ?
and
even if one (1) jerk did flatten tires, that is Not what the "Democratic Party has become" and I think you know that.

one last thing - that song is written and preformed by foreign Liberals who don't like bush :)

"Indigent Republican voters in Milwaukee"? There are none. Actually, it's the Clintons who sing, "I get knocked down, but I get up again, and you're never gonna keep me down." What the Democratic Party used to be is a party that let goons like you walk all over them. What it is now is a party that says, "Hell, no, we aren't going to let you people lie about us anymore. We are the party of the people, you are the party of the powerful, and the people have had enough of you." Hillary is going to win in a landslide, no matter which of your seven or more dwarfs you put up.

It's ridiculous for Yahoo to suspend someone and then allow them back by simply opening another free email account.

It would appear to indicate that suspension is not carefully applied in the first place.

It would be ironic in the extreme if the people who say "dissent is patriotic" were themselves trying to stifle opposing voices.

Needless to say, changes are needed in how this site is run.

Liberal and conservative trolls provide only insults and that why they are trolls.

Democrats and Republicans as in a Tom Cruise movie "Show me the money" and that is where you will find them.

Consider voting for another party since it is time to fire the Democrats and Republicans.

The worst though is when they degrade public memorials to past war efforts of WWI, WWII, etc that they have done with graffiti on these sites.

i remember in 2004 a local republican politician in my state was forced to resign because it was discovered that he was paying middle school students 1$ for each democratic presidential sign they stole from other peoples lawns which they would trespass onto to bring to him.

on a side note peaceful protest is a very effective tool to effect political change.

is there a MORE partisan way which you could ask your question? Partisanism is the real troll; not "libs" and "cons".

people will take you more seriously if you don't appear so one sided; unless of course you are just trying to be humorous, in which case, i think you might have been able to be more successful.

generalizations are useless as a means of argument. a small group of misdirected individuals are not all liberals or cons.

there is a lot of that suspension stuff going around. you aren't the lone ranger. go whine to your mommy.

i am really glad that i didn't have to hear you sing that old tripe. thank god for the printed message!

You act as if liberals are the only ones who are guilty of this sort of thing. Shortly after the war began, I put an anti-war bumper sticker on my car. Thankfully, it wasn't defaced, but I actually remember driving down the road and having people tail me, glare at me, and make rude gestures to me and my then boyfriend. There's definitely a fair share of conservative nuts!
