There's actually quite a lot to do in the area, but it depends on what you're looking for. Do you enjoy shopping, sightseeing? Will you have your family with you?

Lancaster has a LOT of shopping. There are quite a number of outlet malls, plus all the antiques you could ever want (and then some). There are also Amish farmers markets, where you can pick up fresh produce and crafts.

The Wilbur chocolate factory is in Lititz; the Hershey factory & Hershey Park aren't far, either.

Dutch Wonderland is a popular amusement park for children:

It may sound a little cheesy, but the corn maze? Is *awesome*. My boyfriend goes every year around Hallowe'en--we get a big group of people and go late at night (they have extra activities for the kids, but it's just as much fun for adults).

If you're interested in the Amish, there's a quilt museum in Intercourse (yes, Intercourse), plus buggy rides, folk festivals, and homesteads.

This time of year, the PA Renaissance Faire is held at the Mount Hope winery. In addition to performances, music, and jousting, there are some wonderful crafters and artisans. If you've never been, I highly recommend it!

In addition, there are a number of theatres and playhouses, spas, hiking trails, and restaurants.
