I have had a catchers glove since december and i have been using it nonstop. It closes nicely but the pocket is not very deep so the ball bounces out quickly if i dont trap it. My other glove has a deep pocket but it is my coaches and he broke it in. How should I get a deeper pocket on my glove.

Just keep workin it, the more you use it the more flex the leather will have and it will allow for stretching, Rub the pocket area down good with a leather conditioner, or believe it or not get it nice n wet and use a ball to work it

Hold the glove on your hand and throw a ball into the area you want the pocket, or you could use a bat and do the same thing

Buy some shaving cream with aloe in it.

Rub in in the pocket.

This will loosen the leather and will help it stretch with use.

You can sit on it. That always worked for me.
