anger is an emotion, usually brought on through stupidity - either your own or someone else's, or a deliberate act of harm. As an emotion, it has the same 'right' as other emotions... the onus is on the person to control the anger and not direct it at innocent people. A skill most people need to work on!!

I don't want to be angry.
I can be angry but I don't want to be.
Some people confuse hurt with anger and assume I want to fight so I do. I am not a massochist so I a fight well. We both get hurt and that is that.
But I don't view that as getting angry.
I view that as communicating with hard words, unless it is a fight, and then it is communicationg on a physical level, like sex but no where near as fun.
So there is no right to be angry just a pressumption that you don't want to be stepped on.

The fact that my rights should be considered, and if others don't pay attention to this, then I'll give myself the right to get angry. (Of course it will have no benefit).

It is one of those "inalienable" rights. I just have the right to be angry. Period. It's how I handle my feelings that matters.

In my house, it's because I have earned the right.
I am everything to everyone, and get taken for granted at times.
THAT makes me angry.

I very seldom get angry! If I do it is at some type of abuse! Especially animal abuse!

I have the right to feel however I want about anything I want. I have the right to be happy about somebody's death if I want to. How could anybody take that right away from me?
