Yes it is but you get 100 to give away a day, if it will put a smile on someone's face why not give it to them. It's not like they're worth anything. It's just brightening someone's day so why be stingy with them. Spread the joy!

Yeah i think it's pathetic people are running around asking for stars. These are the same people that in real life would demand a free refill in restaurants they are the ones that you see hovering around that lady in the grocery stores who's job it is to hand out free samples. They will walk around the neighborhood taking out all the coupon booklets out of their neighbors Sunday papers. Come on people!!,Life isn't free!!, Earn it for Christ sake.!! (oh, and I'll give you a star for asking this question:)

I've never asked for a star nor will I. I love it when I get them though, it shows that some people are interested in the question I asked and not just for the points.

It is narcissistic to ask for stars...I have asked 279 questions that have received over 1400 stars....because people wanted the question to be seen and not because I shamelessly asked for attention.
