Let x = May's money, 1/2x = Nancy's, 3x = Osman's.
Equation (money of May):
x + 1/2x + 3x = $585
4 1/2x = $585
x = $585 / (4 1/2)
x = $130
Money of Nancy:
$130 * 1/2 = $65
Money of Osman:
$130 * 3 = $390
