I was suppose to relocate to another state and have not been able to do it totally, I need to reschedule for two weeks from now. Do you think I should be honest? or how do employers look at that

Be honest and tell them -- as soon as possible so they can make arrangements.

They should be willing to reschedule, but if they say that they are not able to, perhaps you could offer to do a phone interview.

It would depend on the industry, your qualifications and how soon they are looking to fill the position. Unless you have skills that no one else may have and they are not looking to fill the position immediately, they may postpone the interview and let you interview at a later date; however, in most cases it will put you out of the running entirely.

Regardless, honesty is always the best policy. If if it does put you out of running for this job, if the company has similar positions or is a large corporation you could end up being in the running for another position in that company.

Employers realize that things come up. Be honest and let them know how excited you are to meet with them when you can.

Absolutely be honest. They may need to have someone started before you are moved but there will be more jobs. If you lie will you be moved any faster?
