The only think I think it might be is the sun. And actually, when the sun is up at night, it's not called night -- it's called dusk or dawn (the only time it might appear yellow).
Unless this is a joke... in which case, the shiny yellow thing in the sky is a bowl of Macaroni and Cheese, and I would be as giddy as a school girl to have one.
