Just like Ivory soap, 99.144% clean? Just on the sickening side isn't it?

They'll present themselves as clean until the new scandal occurs. Why don't people see the hypocrisy for what it is?

Puhleeze, that will just be until the next scandal. The soon -to- be former Senator was convicted in JUNE, yet somehow we are supposed to believe his Pub colleagues knew absolutely nothing until the story broke 2 weeks ago? Come on now. Are these the same ones who also knew about Mark Foley who was at his shenanigans for 10 years and somehow they were " hear and deaf, see and blind". Gimme a break. Ironic considering over the past 26 months with the exception of William Jefferson and his "cold hard cash" indictment, the corruption indictments AND convictions as well as sex scandals have been dominated by " butter can't melt in my mouth, I am cleaner than cleaner and I am the moral authority" Republicans. Who just got off of the headlines in the corruption investigation merry go round- Sen. Ted Stevens ( R) AK.

I wonder why those liberal Republicans are picking on Gonzales instead of investigating the Teapot Dome Scandal. Smells like hipocrisy to me.

The Republican party is comprised of very fallible people, just like every other group of human beings.

That members of the party will fail to meet the standards we hold it to, is an inevitability, just like with every other group of human beings.

However, unlike many groups, the Republican party does not believe in rewarding, celebrating, defending or excusing criminal, immoral or unethical behavior.

That is what makes true the claims of the GOP being less corrupt than the Dems. Not that we are perfect, because that's impossible, but because we don't tolerate corruption and criminality.

Let's see Clinton screwed around on his wife for years. Who is to say that with all his involvements, he did not try a man on for size? Funny. And, we let him tell all the lies he could, until he decided to tell a sorted truth. Then there are the rumors of his wife, now candidate. Should I keep going, Come on, give peace a chance - the man needs his space. When Craig is ready, I am sure we will be willing to hear the details of his life, and if he never opens his mouth to tell, whatever.

This has Hillary Clinton, written all over it. They want to replace Craig for the electoral vote. You know that. Every Republican on the hill knows it. Wake up.

Senator Craig got charged and lost his career for putting one foot into part of another stall. How sad.

Good point...Maybe the Republicans should lower their standards to the Democrat's level...thus inoculating themselves from any moral responsibility.
