My chickens cross the road to eat the bugs under the leaves in the woods that is across the road.
Now those driving the road feel like they are playing chicken, and another one bites the dust.

Because its so unheard of? imagine driving along, minding your own business and suddenly a chicken crosses the road. weird! but then i do work in london, maybe if i lived in the country near farms it is an everyday thing!
