I would choose the late 1800's. I would love to be one of those women from a rich family who have servants and maids and wear those lavish dresses with those corsets and get their hair curled every morning.. haha im obsessed with the 1800's. imagine riding around in carriages pulled by horses.. thatd be awesum.

I'm right there with you. It was also a time when men respected women. That is what I miss the most. Chivalry!

Tho, I'd really miss deodorant and feminine products!

i would personally like to be reborn during one of 2 times. the earlier would be korea during the time when the Sim/Shim/Simm (or however the hell u wanna spell it depending on the way its spelled for u in english since the whole immigration thing made things a bit complicated) ruled in korea. the reason being of course is that my last name is Sim, and thus i would be in a high position of society. (MWAHAHAHA...)

the other time i would want to be reborn would be exactly when i was born. the reason for this is probably bc i never had to do much w the modern world at the time and was pretty much everything retarded. my parents didnt have any friends since almost nobody was korean, but they met a handful and soon found some neighbors that couldnt be better ones. so, assuming that i would grow up acting differently than i previously did, i would probably try to keep some of my korean and not lose the ability to speak it fluently. i also would probably not be as ignorant as i previously was, again given the fact that i would act differently. id probably be able to type much faster too, seeing that i hadnt had much need for a keyboard as i only required the mouse whenever i used the computer. of course i could go on, and on, and on, and on, and u get the point, but im too tired to think up anything else. stupid hw...

I agree with the answer by Wooden Mammoth. The mid 50s where only one person earned enough to support a family, the music was great and if you could ignore the "cold war" life was good.
P.S..as far as the 1800s, remember you could more easily have been a servant than a Mistress >grin<.

Well at least you have common sense to want to be rich in the 1800! But most were not that lucky and had to work hard all their lives. But also think no indoor plumbing. No telephones. Everything cooked on a wood burning stove. No electricity,

I wouldn't change when I was born it was an idyllic time.

I'd choose to be reborn just after the end of WWII.
The feeling of the world would generally be good, and, according to my mother, life was much easier back then.
There's too much stress on teens nowadays to do this, to do that, to do well in school, to lose your virginity, to do this drug, to drink this drink. Back then being a teen was fun and you still had a lot to look forwards to.

Nowadays almost every teen has done at least one of those things if not more, and some of them have done all of them.

There was a lot less gun crime, knife crime. There wasn't the risk of walking out of your front door and getting mugged and stabbed. Teenagers showed respect to their elders and everyone had manners.

Life just generally seemed a lot easier and nicer back then.

I would love the early 1900's (for the same reason, the dresses! SO beautiful) or to be a teenager in the 50's. I loved the poodle skirt/cartigan sweater/ponytail look. everyone seemed so preppy and happy back then!

The turn of the century. Things would be changing fast. Like you I'd be in the buggy days but electricity, autos etc. would be coming on strong.
