Fecal incontinence is not as uncommon as one may think. I would not suggest using a tampon as this may stretch the sphincter muscle. I would however suggest you see your doctor, as there are treatments for this. Often times this leakage is caused by chronic constipation which decreases the sphincter control. Please see some of the articles in the link I provided.
