You can't. You haven't seen enough different types of breast.
Even measuring under & around (the two measurements used to find a number/letter size, won't take into account the SHAPE(S) of your breasts.
You need to get a proper fitting. The fitter will be familiar with the brands that best suit your 'type' of bust, and the variation in the way they are sized. Your 'correct' size may be different for the different way in which each manufacturer makes the garment.
Wearing a 'softer' or a 'more structured' bra will also affect the way a particular size fits you. And a bra that is correctly sized for you can also feel 'wrong' (or cause pain, or lack support) if it is not correctly adjusted. A lot of women are walking around with their bras too tightly adjusted, in the mistaken belief that this gives 'more support'.
Most department stores will offer a fitting service, sometimes free of charge, in their underwear department.
Specialist 'designer' lingerie shops almost always offer a fitting, because their products vary even more in shape and structure than the 'standard' ranges of underwear do.

Why not go to a store that has a bra fitting centre then they can do the measurements and supply you with the correct size.

the wires at the front should be completley flat against your ribcage and they should go back and be under your armpit. Measuring yourself with a tape measure doesnt work! The best way to get a good fitting bra is to go into a shop and get fitted, or if your too embaressed, take a large selection of sizes in to the changing room with you and try them on until one feels right. I shop at bravissimo and always come away with perfect fitting bras.

mabye you should get measured at a lingare, or a shop like marks and spencers in the clothes section obviously!! dont walk into the food area and ask for assistance with the size of your bra.!! :) if your embarrassed about asking then mabye take a friend or close relative along with you for support. or if worst comes to worst try different sizes of bras on and see what sizes is the most comfortable fit then stick with it but sometimes they may vary so you may have to get a size larger or smaller, dont worry u'll get the hang of it. and remember your not alone all of us girls have to go through it at one point! :) x good luck! x

sure it does. it may influence the form and how briskly your breast improve. I used to placed on the incorrect length and became into consistently like why am I so small? yet while i began out working at a bra save I have been given measured and discorvered my authentic bra length and that they actually began to enhance. It became into staggering. i could say get measured for one. :D

Here is a website that offers a bra size calculator http://www.85b.org/bra_calc.php . You will need a measuring tape. If you are not comfortable doing this yourself, Victoria Secret and stores like that offer free fittings.

You should try them on BEFORE you buy them.
Get professionally measured at Nordstrom JCPenney or Sears (NOT victoria secret as they are prone to measuring incorrectly, experience and seeing others feedback on other boards). Use that measurement as a guideline since bra measurements are not standard from brand to brand. You could be a 38C in one bra and a 38D in another bra.
