1. The rich folk. Now I don't know about you, but these guys are some of the worst customers. It never fails. They always come in with a 100 dollar bill, and buy 5 bucks worth of stuff. It clearly states on the door 35 bucks in the drawer at all times! wtf?

2. The nice people. These are the best ones. They'll joke with ya, chat with ya, but never stay too long, and they always respect you.

3. The older people. And I'm talken the ones that pay with change and checks. I really hope you don't get stuck behind those.

4. The lottery folk. I really hope you don't get stuck behind the ones that buy like 100 worth of lottery from the machine. I swear, it takes me like ten minutes to run it through. I really don't mind, but other people in line do.

HAHA. . I'm running out of characters to type with, I'll write more in a bit. now's your chance to comment. What do you hate about a retail store? :o)

i used to work retail, and besides people asking you stupid questions, i hate when people put the money on the counter instead of putting it in your hand. that really irks me.

Don't forget the "entitled people". They are not rich, in fact, probably only have five dollars, but expect you to wait on them hand-and-foot as though you are their waiter. They have serious attitudes and treat you like a low-class citizen. They make faces at you if you don't know what they're talking about and want deals that aren't offered. Then they leave after saying something like "Bless you," or "God loves you" while your thinking, "clearly, she does not."

To the girl a few above me, maybe your hand is too dirty thats why I like to put in on the counter, I don't know where your hands have been and besides you've been touching money all day I don't want to touch your filthy hand!

oh i have sooooomany. but this comes to mind first...
sunday shoppers are the MOST rude.. they think that because they went to church and sang a few songs asked for forgiveness, that they can come into my store and treat my like a servant who is beneath themmm..
now i have always worked retail, and in a shop they are rude, but in a restaurant on a sunday, i wanted to scream....

oh, the answer above reminded me,,,,, when people pull money out of their shoe.. or out of their bra.. eeww.. and it always seems to be in the summer when they are sweaty and smelly..
probly the most disgusting thing ever....
