Why is it that we see so many questions about pregnancy on YA?

I always thought they taught this stuff in sex education class in high school or before? I learned about pregnancy and such long before they ever had sex education in school. I guess it is true, that kids today don't listen or learn in school any more?

First, I think people ask questions about things that are totally new to them, that only happen a few times in a lifetime. Second, I don't think they go over all the details of pregnancy in those sex ed classes.
