steel stainless pan, not non-stick.
pebblespro: How do you return it to get a new one? I don't see it on his website www.emerilware.com, can you give a direct URL?

Was it stainless steel pan or a non-stick pan.? What is/was the finish.. If it was teflon coated it's not a good idea to use steal wool or brillo pads on a pan of that nature it will take the coating off.. Also, does it have a lifetime warranty? Take a look at his website or warranty slip. You may be entitled to a new replacement pan if you didn't "void" the warranty... I use plastic cooking utensils in my Calphalon set and I've had my pans replaced twice free of charge. So, you may want to look into what the warranty covers.... good luck

Mine are Calphalon... Emerilware is through what company..?It think it's with an A.... Try that company.... Or try where you bought the pans and photocopy the warranty card... I received mine as a wedding present so I do not have a receipt or anything of that nature.. Calphalon has a 10 yr. warranty...

Your not supposed to use anything on tefflon... not even soap. I don't think it's fixable but I would bring it back to where you bought it
