I was okay; my journey normally takes 30 minutes door-to-door on the Jubilee Line and today it took exactly that! It was definitely more crowded than usual though.
If I walk to and from work, it takes 50 minutes each way. That's how I got home yesterday but I was soooo tired when I got home, that that's why I didn't want to walk to work today. But I am going to walk home tonight. It's a very nice walk right along the river - I work at London Bridge and live near Canada Water. (But I don't like walking past the posh restaurants in Shad Thames because it makes me hungry.)

My journey this morning was the same as usual. Just over 8 miles by bicycle into the West End (Approx 50 mins - no nose stuck in someones sweaty armpit, no getting stuck in traffic jams etc). Thankfully the strike has been suspended for Wednesday as I have to go to a 'do' after work and won't cycle in.

You should do what i do .... WALK. I live 65 mins away from My employers and it is a lovely walk, wakes me up in the morning and helps me relax on the way home. Couple of nice pubs enroute if I decide I want to chill for an hour or some shops if I need anything.
And yes I do it in all weathers all year around.

Ok thanks.
I can walk from the London Eye to my work at Westminster if I so choose, but as bus was there, jumped on...
Got here, normal time. No problems for me :)
People should boycott the Tubes anyway & find other means of getting to work - they are a death trap waiting to happen.

if your value ticket passes by means of London, then you somewhat're coated for the tube area of the adventure as long as your universal value ticket is permitted for use in top circumstances. So confident, if your value ticket is valid at top circumstances, this incorporates the tube.

No problem. But then I was travelling northbound on the 17 bus at 11am, so i wouldn't expect any difficulties.

I feel your fear! Try the bus, or a pub and then a bus. How about renting a bicycle?
