close to death, i will travel to these sik chinese monks, who feed you nothing but honey [no water] for a month.
untill you sweat hiney, you salivate honey, you cry honey.
then, ultimatly, you die.
the put you in a honey filled stone coffin and chisel on the date.
one hundred years later your jar is opened and viola!
mellofied man for all the family!
as used in traditional chinese medicin.

At a hundred years higher on the experience ladder..... like time goes only forward, experience only climbs. I do not believe that death undoes anyone, it just incapacitates the body.
