I would say no more than 250-300 (about a football field's length) feet because you could still see them clearly from the ground.

Assuming you are talking strictly in the movie, I would say about 175 to 200 feet. When they flew over the forrest, you would figure that the average tree would be about 100 feet tall and they flew well above the tree line.

well they where higher then the trees say about 100 to 200feet

very high!! i saw him hit a bowl with elliot & cheech & chong before the cops rush them! but they where high enough!!!
